Connecting rural communities, people and Europe

Our work develops around three interconnected areas.

They are not separate boxes. Many of our projects may bring together youth, culture, community participation and international cooperation.

What connects them is a common purpose: creating meaningful encounters that help people learn, participate and build stronger connections with their communities and with the wider world.

European cooperation & networks

We believe international cooperation works best when it grows from genuine relationships rather than from the need to complete a project application.

That is why we want to build a network of organisations across Europe with whom we can learn, exchange ideas and gradually develop projects together.

We are especially interested in connecting with organisations working around:

rural communities · youth · volunteering · culture · community participation · intercultural learning

We are open to partner-building, exchanges of practices, European projects and smaller collaborations that allow organisations to get to know each other before developing something bigger together.

From rural Navarra to Europe — and back

Our territory is not simply the place where our projects happen.

It is part of why we exist.

We want people living in rural Navarra to have access to international experiences, relationships and opportunities, while also creating reasons for people from elsewhere to discover, learn from and contribute to our communities.

Youth, volunteering & European mobility

We want young people living in rural areas to have access to international experiences and opportunities, regardless of where they live.

We are particularly interested in volunteering, youth exchanges, intercultural learning and other forms of European mobility that allow young people to discover different cultures, develop new skills and become more active in their communities.

As Invernadero Cultural enters a new stage, we are working towards strengthening our capacity to connect young people from our territory with European opportunities and, in the future, to welcome international volunteers and participants to rural Navarra.

Some of the areas we want to develop include:

• Information and guidance about European opportunities

• Mentoring and participant support

• Activities connecting young people from rural communities with Europe

Culture, heritage & encounter

For us, culture is not only something to watch or consume. It can create spaces where people meet, participate and discover their territory and each other in new ways.

We are interested in projects that bring together culture, local heritage, creativity and community life — particularly when they create connections between different generations, cultures or backgrounds.

These projects can take many forms: artistic activities, festivals, workshops, community initiatives, encounters around local heritage or experimental formats developed together with the people who live in a territory.

The format can change.

The encounter between people is what matters.
